Preceded in death by parents Esther & Lester Weisskopf and sister Marilyn
Tritter. Survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Gloria; daughters, Melanie
Weisskopf (Stuart Slonin), Paula Tankenoff (Jim), Debbie Finn (Michael);
grandchildren, Abby & Santi, Michael, Erin & Eric, Andy & Libby
and Jodi Finn; great grandchildren, Janie, Max and David. He served in the U.S.
Army in Arizona where he met and married his wife Gloria. Howard was the
founder of Mpls Ragstock. in 1954, retiring in 2007. He was past president of
Oakridge C C, past board member of Temple Israel. Howard was known for his
kindness and caring for others, always a gentleman. He had many passions in
life, among them, his love for traveling the world, and sharing his
adventures, fishing trips with his friends and grandchildren, and a good gin
game in the afternoon. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Funeral service 1 PM SUNDAY, Oct. 2, 2011, at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2324 Emerson
Ave. So., Mpls. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the donor’s
